An Award-winning WAVE-powered Communications Interoperability Solution from Saab

Saab’s TactiCall communications interoperability solution is a recently developed system which simplifies all aspects of voice and data communications management for emergency responders and incident command and control. Built to a rugged specification and designed for fast deployment, TactiCall includes WAVE software technology to seamlessly connect the multiple communications system typically found at incident locations.

In 2007 TactiCall was awarded a Danish technology prize for communication in catastrophe relief operations.

Earlier this year, Saab did a successful test of TactiCall in cooperation with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) on behalf of the UN Working Group on Emergency Telecommunications (WGET).
