WAVE Software Joins NATO Approved Fielded Products List

Seattle, Washington, USA – March 23, 2010 – Twisted Pair Solutions, a pioneer of Radio-over-IP (RoIP) and the maker of WAVE® unified group communications software, today announced that WAVE is now listed on the NATO Approved Fielded Products List (AFPL), having passed all NATO Information Assurance requirements.  Potential users of WAVE software are now assured that the software is approved for use on NATO networks around the world.

“Securing an AFPL listing is yet more proof that our WAVE platform meets or exceeds the stringent requirements for operating on highly secure military networks,” said Tom Guthrie, President and CEO at Twisted Pair Solutions. “Security, scalability and minimal network utilization are three of WAVE’s defining attributes, helping to make it the preferred technology for group communications over IP.”

In June of 2009, WAVE software was granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) for Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Army installations, allowing unit Commanders to accelerate new WAVE deployments across the U.S. Army. In many ways similar to the AFPL listing, the U.S. Army CoN was granted following a review of technical documentation, industry research, DoD and Army guidelines and regulations, as well as interviews with current Army administrators of WAVE systems.
