Twisted Pair Solutions’ WAVE® Software Granted Certificate of Networthiness by U.S. Army

Seattle, Washington, USA – June 23, 2009 – Twisted Pair Solutions, Inc.(www.twistpair.com), a pioneer in unified group communications software built to open standards, today announced that its WAVE software has been granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) for Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Army installations. WAVE has been deployed by the DoD since 2002 and by placing it on the Army Valid CoN list, unit Commanders can accelerate new deployments across the U.S. Army.   

For military commanders seeking greater situational awareness on the battlefield, interoperable communications is key.  Enhanced communications using radio-over-IP (RoIP) software that can easily and securely extend access to tactical radio networks and other IP-enabled communications systems in bandwidth constrained networks promotes rapid information dissemination and informed decision-making.

The WAVE CoN was granted following a review of technical documentation, industry research, DoD and Army guidelines and regulations, as well as interviews with current Army administrators of WAVE systems.
