Twisted Pair Solutions’ WAVE® Software Now a Nortel Select Product
Seattle, Washington, USA – May 19, 2009 – Twisted Pair Solutions (www.twistpair.com), a pioneer in unified communications software built to open standards, today announced that its WAVE® software technology has been designated a Nortel Select Product. Through this designation, Nortel recognizes WAVE software as a best-in-class technology that strategically complements Nortel unified communications and IP telephony solutions, specifically the Nortel Business Communications Manager 50, Communication Server 1000 and Nortel IP Phone 1140E and IP Phone 1150E
WAVE software achieved Nortel Select Product status based on Nortel’s analysis of Twisted Pairs’ business plan and input from Nortel customers. Additionally, Twisted Pair successfully completed compatibility testing in a Nortel lab environment, earning the designation of Nortel Compatible Product.
WAVE 4.5 is the latest version of Twisted Pair Solution's industry-leading unified group communications software technology and includes new features and functionality designed to deliver greater compatibility and integration capabilities with industry standard platforms. Previous releases of WAVE included features and functionality that extend the reach of enterprise applications and platforms from Nortel and other manufacturers. WAVE 4.5 now includes additional operating system compatibility as well as adding dual stack IPv4/IPv6 protocol capability mandated by the US Federal Government.
